Be my valentine

I have never been a huge Valentine's Day kinda guy. I hate being traditional and while it's fine to celebrate love on one specific day it is something that should happen more often than not. So my feelings are mixed between obligation, being a follower and sentiment.

So here was my Valentine's Day weekend. 

Friday: 

     I got off work late but Kyle had ordered pizza then we went to see Slumdog Millionaire. I loved it while he was indifferent. 

Saturday: 

     We both worked. I got off before so I grabbed some beer. We watched some tv then passed out around midnight. 

Sunday: 

     My favorite day. I made breakfast for us. We tried to figure out what to do with both of us at home. With limited budgets we decide to figure out something to do at home. I walked to Home Depot, grabbed some paint came back and we painted the bathroom together. 

Romantic? Not so much, but simply put it's just nice to spend my time off together. I love Kyle and my life with him. Thanks for a non-traditional, yet couldn't be better Vday!
