First thing...True Blood. Biggest disappointment to date. Overall just a crappy way to end a season. It was evident these writers take a few episodes to get the the season going but to end on a note like that?
VMA's. I realize everyone is in a tissy, but I can't help but think MTV and the idiot (whom shall remain nameless) are both famous for pulling stunts at award shows. It's what they do and it works for them. MTV will never look bad for doing this and the idiot will be all over the news for the next week. It's a win win. Any press is good press. If MTV wasn't behind it I challenge them to ban him from any future award shows. See how that goes.
Lastly, I need to talk political. Shocking I know. Michelle. I like you. I like your husband. I enjoy listening to him speak and take comfort in seeing him as a role model for young people as an intellectual, inspiring and overall healthy person. I am talking directly to you because you are what I feel is our only hope left. Sure it's only been 9 months and I could accept that BUT.... your husband has yet to jump head first into anything. He's like that old Reece's commercial where the lady would nibble around the edges, but I need your husband to dive in. We have nothing to regulate our commerce and banking systems. We have no health care plan just ideas and craziness stirring around. Bill Maher called the President out for not stepping up his game and he has a valid point. The economy is turning and I appreciate, but I need you to really pull your husband aside. Slap him around a little, and get him back on track. It's okay if he pisses a few people off, but it's time he begins to dig deep into his campaign promises. It's time to for him to begin his legacy rather than leaving the coward. I'm rooting for him, but he needs to put himself out there and be a leader. I'm not sure if you've seen the West Wing, but something similar to the scene where Abby cuts the President's tie right before he goes on stage. That's all I ask to get him on track.
